I hunted religiously in the general areas surrounding Wisdom up until 2008-09(?) Fires, wolves, increased hunting pressure... moved to another area. Would like to return though w/o any scouting, etc...
Anyone willing to share some general insight please PM me. Thanks.

Was just there this weekend hunting ducks. Opening morning we came up on a herd of about 50-60 elk and at least two bulls. We fired off a bugle just to see what would happen and both bulls answered back. This was right off the road and of course the elk saw the truck and ran but it made me wish I'd have had my bow instead of my shotgun.
