winter coyote

This is what I do during the winter. Call em up and shoot them. This coyote came in early december before the snow got too deep.

Usually get around 20-30/year. Depends on how much I go out.

I feel stupid now i didnt even look for any calls in the photo. I need to learn to call by hand I just dont have much luck with electronic calls.

Nice job on the coyote. Sounds like you get quite a few each winter. How often do you get doubles coming in/ shooting doubles?

Some years I get quite a few doubles coming in and some years I get singles. This year I have gotten only 2 pairs that came in. Got them both!

Everytime I think I got the coyotes figured out, they educate me. I'm always learning.

Over the years, I have had a time when 4 or 5 come in a group. That is exciting. Usually only get 1 of them. Too many to look at.
