I shot a Winchester 101 Pigeon Grade when I was a kid that an older gentleman let me shoot. They are nice!

Bet you love it. Mine is 12 g, so easy to carry up and down stubble fields. Recoil is substantial. Great Miroku workmanship, a beautiful gun.

Edit: Mine is older production, XTR featherweight.

I think these are made by FN in belgium & finished in Portugal. Should be a fine shotgun for adventuring in the uplands, and the occasional jump-shot duck as well. I've got a German O/U that's 6.5 pounds with 26" tubes. Recoil is easily managed with field loads, including the 1 3/8's #5 bismuth I use for late season roosters.

A 6.5 pound gun with 28 tubes & changeable chokes is a heck of a good field gun. Let us know how you like it!

I still shoot a 101 pigeon grade 20. Have a set of 28gauge barrels also. Still one of my favorites.
