OK here's how it goes. First the picture needs to be somewhere on the internet.

1. right click (right hand button on mouse) on a pic. Use the hunttalk logo above to practice.

2. At the bottom of the menu which pops up, click properties.

3. Select the entire line which pops up next to 'address URL' in the logo above it looks like this.

http://www.huntandlodge.com/ubb/Huntalk_logo.gif

then press the buttons ctrl and C at the same time copying the line.

4. On the full reply page hit the grey button which reads IMAGE

5. A small page will pop up.

6. Hit the ctrl and V buttons at the same time, pasting the line.

voila

mojave, thanks for the step by step. i think that even i can follow those directions. but-- the part that is messing me up is "First the picture needs to be somewhere on the internet" i have been having fits trying to find some free hosting site. in the meantime i guess that i will try sending it thru delw. thanks twodot

twodot, a lot of folks use hunt101.com for photo hosting, and many of the guys on this board use hunttalks gallery section for hosting.

So how do twodot and I get the gallery section to host our pics.I have some pics saved off of another site but wont come up here.When I hit preview either I get nothing or that damn freaking red x with no treasure under it.Anyhow gotta go bou hunting now,the wife and dog are killing me over with the begging and puppy dog eyes......please take me hunting now "women"

Hey twodot, try photobucket.com as your picture web hosting site. I use it and it works fine plus it's free. They already provide the tags for ubb code so all you have to do is copy and paste the img portion into your message/reply. Pretty easy stuff.

hey guppie,will do some time.The bou hunt went like crap this morning.Got out to the top of the ski area and saw four trucks stuck and atleast 20 going back to town,roads where icy.Found my hunting pard on the opposite side of the road stuck,been there 3 hours before I showed up.Anyhow we got word from another fella that there where four foot drifts up at the summit and rain,argh! so now Im headed to Eielson for Grouse...drop me a line sometime @ [email protected] I check my mail every few days.Talk to ya later.Daniel
