Wilderness Area montage

Just back from a glorious six days of dry fly fishing for corpulent cutthroat trout in the Bob.

The rubber hatch is annoyingly off the charts these days. It certainly detracted from the solitude experience a bit. But, we managed to have a splendid time nevertheless.

With all the rain we have had in July this year, it could almost pass for Ireland, except where the heavy timber was. Those places are still black or mostly brown because most of the soot has been washed down to the river.
This has been the wettest summer ive ever seen here. Lot of good anter growth and healthy babies.

Terribly dry in the western part of the state though
