Wife watches

My everyday watch is a 1987 Rolex Datejust.
Son is a watchmaker and he cleans it for me every once in a while.
The gunk that comes out of the band is gross he says so now I wear a Tag for hunting seasons.
I really like the Tag.

Just looked up my Tags, I have 2 actually. Holy cow, I payed under $300 for each and the Formula 1 and Aquaracer are insane now.

Not a smart watch fan, Swiss made is the way to go. Think of them as an investment.

I'm a watch geek and collector fwiw. As with anything, it all depends on what you want to spend and overall purpose. Under $150, Casio, Timex and many Seikos are all good choices. The Casio G-shock is virtually indestructible but tends to be a little large. For a bit more money, there are more Seiko's, plus Hamilton and Laco have some nice utility style models. Bulova has a broad range of models also at several different price points.

My wife wears a smart watch...she has gold and diamond watches that she never wears, but that damned computer is always on her wrist.

My advise, from 30 years as a jeweler, if you want a nice watch your lower end should be Seiko or Bulova. If you want to go a little nicer there are a bunch to chose from for $1000 to $100,000. The only higher end brand I tell people to stay away from is Tag Heuer. One of my favorite higher end watch brands is Omega.
