Well she is consistant. One Shot,One Kill!! She got her moose awhile back. But, we've been "skunked" on elk. We didn't hunt nearly as hard as we should've, and it shows.
She took a young, tasty bull, that's really not mounting material.But, she made a really good shot.At 209 steps(long steps)she fired and he fell out of my binocular FOV as though the earth were jerked from under him. Hit just behind the shoulder and "AGAIN" no X Bullet to admire. That 225 grn. .338 is stuck in the mountain somewhere!!
