Why do you hunt?

I have thought about this for years. I was born to hunt is about all I can come up with.
My parents hunted so was born into it. I truly enjoy the fall weather the excitement of being out in the woods/hills and sagebrush. It's something primeval in my DNA.
I just plain enjoy deer hunting.
It's like rock hunting it's all about the hunt.

Food. I could eat other food, but I prefer whitetail to cow, etc.

Tradition. Connects me to who I am and where I came from. It’s my only true escape from day to day life… the list goes on and on

I feel at peace when I hunt and I rarely shoot anything. It’s therapeutic to sit on the highest hill you can climb and look at stuff.
