Did the Brokeback Mountain movie get the reviews and Oscar nominatiions it did when no one saw it???


I just did a search and WorldWide it only has did 82 million dollars to date and is ranked in 432 place on all time grossing movies. To compare this to an average movie, in the 100 spot is Young Frankenstein back in 1974.


So if you divide 82,000,000 by 9.00[ticket price], that means about 9,111,111 people saw this movie.

Does this mean there are only 9 million "funny people" out of 7 billion?

Because guys like Moosie, Miller and Greenhorn saw it 20-30 times..
But really, i bet it will do good on DVD as a lot of guys would be embarassed to be seen going into a theater. I dont know if i could bring myself to watch it because seeing 2 guys kiss makes me sick. 2 chicks kissing though..hump
