Good luck navigating the perils of choosing a 6mm cartridge. It's hard. mtmuleyLots of scrolling and it does seem to be the GT is maybe a more attractive route.

I bought a complete upper from bear creek arsenal. Mostly just to spite my brother who's a gun snob and says bca is not just bottom of the barrel quality, but digging out from under the barrel.LOL. It's my third upper from them and all three are accurate,t, no malfunctions, and go bang every time. Got one in 450 bushmaster, one in 350 legend ,and the 6 arc.If I need another upper I wouldn't hesitate to go bca. Granted they don't run as smooth as a $1000 gun but I don't need em to for what they're used for.For those running the 6 ARC out of ARs (@ccc23454 and @elkfanatic and any others), what uppers are you using? Did you buy complete uppers or put together your own? Asking cause a 6 ARC upper is next on my list...the kids need a low recoil deer round.
Mine is a cmmg upper. Wanted build my own but as I looked for parts availability and costs dictated just buy upper on sale, couldn't be happier with it! If I was going surpressed I will build my own.For those running the 6 ARC out of ARs (@ccc23454 and @elkfanatic and any others), what uppers are you using? Why would I want a dasher? Is there good brass available?
I appreciate all the other options but nobody yet is telling me what’s the downside of 6 arc.
There’s a zero chance for me to buy a howa.
Or put some hair on your chest and go with 240 wby or 6 umIf you want to be less gay/hipster you could do t

I didn’t. I already mentioned I love my 6 arc pistol and howa mini rifle. Was just joking about your comment. I went with the arc because guns and ammo were cheap. Zero research went into my decision on those 2. Thought the case looked cool and bought the rifle. I really do want the 240 Weatherby but $ for a lefty. And really heavy for a fast twist. Not many options for me. But I do have two 300 wsm I picked up cheap and one might become a 6 umYou missed the part where he wants a plinker

I’d do GT just for a little better barrel life, less recoil, less blast. Creedmoor is getting away from the interesting part of ARC - barrel life, recoil, blast. Generally the more overbore the more temperamental. Which is why dasher is cool of not chasing the velocity of 6 creed. Nice thing about 6 creed is there are some good factory rifle options (tikka) for the price of a custom barrel and you could just slap a better stock or chassis on and have a great rifle. I’m invested in creedmoor but would do dasher if I could go back I think. Now I’m debating 6creed vs 6gT but no hurry. I want to make sure I pick an action/stock that I’ve looked and and handled a bit before deciding and I’m sure there will be long waiting once I choose/order.
Au contraire, creedmoor is basic/mainstream now days. XC is more hipsterIf you want to be less gay/hipster you could do the 6xc
