Who’s got a 6 arc?

Only if you're hoping to find an action in stock, vs ordering and waiting for them to build it. You could still find a ARC bolt face action somewhere on the shelf, it's just a little less likely.

I was thinking its probably a non-issue with a zermat or something with swapable bolt faces. Paying money to open up a 223 bolt or bush a standard bolt face is another negative if wanting to use an existing action. Resale might not be as strong. All relatively minor issues.

My favorite gun to shoot right now is a cva pistol with 14” barrel 6 arc shooting 103 gr eldx at 2430 fps. Have not shot any animals yet. Been debating picking up a preferred barrels Kelby atlas barreled action in 6 arc. Ammo is reasonable for factory and easier on barrels if you shoot it a bunch.

Are you reloading any for the CVA?

I have 2 Howa mini 20” 6arcs. Originally bought the first for my daughters. Cut the LOP down and they love it. Ended up with another for my wife. Put hers in a Stockys stock. One gun is shooting the 95 TMK’s and the other is shooting 108 ELDM’s. They killed a handful of deer last year with the 108’s. Both guns were used in a charity youth hunt this past weekend. The kids there really enjoyed shooting them at the range.

A modest load of varget/h4895 or similar in a BR based case to get the same performance sounds more desirable than having to push on it.
Are Varget or 4895 go-to powders for 6 dasher or creed with heavier bullets? And not the arc?

That might be a decision changer. I’ve got a ton of target and use that in both my 7-08 and .223.

I can’t imagine a 6crees has much recoil or fries barrels that quickly- but maybe it does compared to the dasher?

Varget and 4895 are a little fast burning for the 6 creed. They aren’t the right powders for the 6arc either if you are wanting to get the most velocity out of that little case. I’ve never had a 6 dasher but being that it splits the difference I’m betting varget would work pretty good in in it

Both of those powders work great in 6gt. I’d have to guess dasher and BR would be similar.

Creed likes h1000 and comparable

Edit to add that 109 is the heaviest I’ve run in front of those powders. Going to tinker with 116 and 120 this winter. Might need slower powder.

I put together a 6 arc AR15 18" barrel for a dedicated coyote rifle with thermal scope for night hunting. Running the 80 gr eld-vt bullet at 2834 fps for just under moa accuracy.. Been smacking coyotes out to 500 yards pretty easily. Most are drt. 103 eldx shoot sub 1/2 moa but don't have the explosive effect of the 80 gr. I haven't tried the 103 on big game yet (due to having too many other rifles setup for daytime hunting) but wouldn't hesitate to use it on deer size game out to 400ish yards.
