Who’s got a 6 arc?

I am building a smaller 6mm for antelope to elk, and I was initially considering the ARC. But I have decided to go with the Dasher, almost entirely because it seems like Varget is better suited for the Dasher than the ARC. Since a lot of the competitive guys are running Dashers, I don't think brass availability is going to be a problem. If anything, I am betting it will probably get better as time goes by. I think Bergara even made a factory 6mm Dasher rifle, so I wonder if it will get approved by SAAMI at some point. Though I guess that isn't a guarantee since Ruger did make some 6mm PPCs in the 90s, and we are talking about the ARC and not the PPC right now.

The bolt face isn't much of an issue for the ARC. You could buy a cheap 350 Legend Tikka from Eurooptic for $530 plus FFL fee, get the $150 rebate, and have the bolt face opened up to the ARC case diameter for $110 at JA Outdoors. You end up with a really good action and trigger for ~$525 that is ready for a prefit.

Side note: If anyone knows which FL sizing dies work well for the Dasher alpha reamer that aren't the bougie SAC or Area419 dies, I am all ears.

Only if you're hoping to find an action in stock, vs ordering and waiting for them to build it. You could still find a ARC bolt face action somewhere on the shelf, it's just a little less likely.

I was thinking its probably a non-issue with a zermat or something with swapable bolt faces. Paying money to open up a 223 bolt or bush a standard bolt face is another negative if wanting to use an existing action. Resale might not be as strong. All relatively minor issues.
