Not this guy. No ratchet straps, not even a tie down. Just bungee cords to keep the back of the boat on the trailer. And he was doing 75mph on the Kennedy this morning here in Chicago.

I've lost count how many times people pulling horses blow past me in excess of 80mph. A lot of people aren't too keen regarding the laws of physics.

You get to a trailhead and there’s a dude with a busted looking rifle, blue jeans and a small daypack and a dude decked out in the latest Sitka + all the gear... I know who I’m putting on for which one comes out heavy.

Bungee cords are hilarious though...

I use to bale a lot of hay most of which I sold to people with horses coincidentally mostly in suburbs of chicago. 9 out of 10 would try to use ratchet straps like a rope. They had no idea they could tighten the strap! After a while you just give up and say looks good sending them on there way and hoping to god they didnt reproduce.

When I was 16 and stupid my friends and I would race to school on I-70.

The Prius has a governor set at 112mph, without it you’d be able to do 120-130 easy.

My mom ditched ours in the river after it accelerated uncontrollably 4 years before I started hunting.
