Who else….?

I've been several times, a couple times for work, once for a buddies bachelor party. It's not on top of my list of must see places--the whole facade of the entire place is a bit crazy. I don't gamble, and partying isn't my thing.

but there are some things in Vegas worth seeing if you have to go:

The Bellagio fountain show is just plain cool to me, and an engineering work of art.

The atrium in the Bellagio usually has interesting displays of some type.

One of the best Italian meals I've ever had was in a restaurant in Caesars Palace.

Also had a one-of-a-kind cocktail at a bar in the Cosmopolitan, a Verbena cocktail IIRC. Worth it if you're in town, ask the bartender.

That's about it.

Hell, I'm only 25, never been, would try it once. I enjoy blackjack so if nothing else I could get some time in at a table lol

Got married in vegas in the early 90s. Use to got back every year on our anniversary for 15 years. We took all the shows in and saw the new hotel/ casinos. Now I go back every 3 year for a construction show. Wife hasn't been back for 10 years and says she will never go back.

Conexpo?

Always thought it would be cool to go see it. Not enough to actually spend money on it though. Didn't know you were in that line of work.
35 plus years in road construction

I end up there a couple times a year. Doesn't bother me too bad. Not my favorite place, but I manage to get through it ok.

Work training and my daughters school is based there. Plus my wife's brother lives there.

I live in Las Vegas. Raised my family here, but I understand your opinions. If your experience is LAS to Las Vegas Boulevard (strip) or Fremont Street, all you'll see is the excesses and weirdness. What you won't see is many really fine people.

I have been twice for buddies weddings (both of which are tits up now BTW). I don't care for gambling from a pragmatic/money losing stand point (I MAY have been referred to as THRIFTY occasionally ;) ). BUT I have to say I did enjoy a lot of the cutesy side attraction with my boy, good food and, as mentioned earlier, I really enjoy the Bellagio fountain, art and flower/plant arrangements inside. If I go back it will be for the Bellagio and a food tour.
