Which one would you shoot?

B and ac look great, but they also look like they have amazing potential later.

E looks great!

A looks old!

With a bow I’d have a hard time passing any of them.

E. Unless one of the others shows up first and closer to the truck

😅 January 1, 2026! Then O.I.L. oryx.

Did you count your chickens before they hatched or do we have a harvest photo? Maybe the seasons not over.

Agreed! Looking forward to seeing any one of those deer in your clutches, if you should feel like sharing.
If you chose to keep it to yourself, Id tip my hat to you! Happy hunting.

The story is not as glamorous as I would like for it to be. The Lord blessed me on the last day during the last hour to get this fighter down. This year was a different year for sure. The deer did not seem to be moving like they normally do. This is not one of the deer I had pictured above. however, he is in the Yeti right now. That makes me happy. Horrible shot. I ranged a sand dune before the buck walked over it. In the heat of the moment, I wanted to make double sure. I re-ranged and got a reading of 7 yards. I knew that was not correct. The dead sunflowers were throwing my range off. Instead of relying on my previous range of 42 yards or so, I over compensated and used my 50 yard pin. I was on my knees and he had two doe in front of him behind a small sand hill I could not see past. The way they were walking I knew they would get my wind. I came to full draw before they re-appeared. I was at full draw at what felt like 30 seconds to a minute before I seen him down in the little bowl. All I could see was his head and back. I aimed where I felt his vitals were and noticed a clump of grass behind my pin. I felt confident my arrow would not be affected by this grass. As stated before, I used my 50 yard pin instead of the needed 40 yard pin. I released the arrow with what seemed like them not having a clue to my presence. IMPACT!! His doe ran to my right as he ran around and to my left up on another dune I had previously ranged at 62ish yards. I stopped him with a meh, and reloaded, adjusted my black gold 3 pin mountain ascent lite sight, looked up to start to come to full draw for a follow up shot. He decided it was time to vamoose. I never remember seeing him after he went over the sand dune. I knew that I had hit him somewhere due to the sound. I walked to the impact spot to look for blood and my arrow. NOTHING. I wandered around in a few small circles looking good and decided to go to where he stopped again. FINALLY, first blood! Not much, but there for sure. I was on the phone to a cousin of mine and had him head that way. We give my deer about an hour and started tracking him. Not much blood at all on the grass and dead sunflower stalks. Slow tracked him mostly until finally my cousin shined his green light ahead of us in a bush and there he was. He could not have been no further than 150 yards from the shot. Praise the Lord! Apparently he was slightly quartered to me. The shot entered high on his right side through his backstrap and exited out his rear end, the Magnus Stinger 100 grain killer bee broadhead and about 2" of arrow protruding. I would have loved to make a much better clean pass through shot on him; I pride myself in that! However, one more tag was filled and I am so happy. Off to my once in a lifetime oryx hunt next Thursday Lord willing!

I would be after the one that was the most consistent with intel, however all things equal I like the clean look of B
