Putting my boots on and saw the 2nd plane hit.
Got to work and was sent out on Lake Patrol to watch/protect the dam,which I did for the next 2 weeks,

Driving home from a morning sage hen hunt. Radio cutting in and out. I thought it was maybe some kind of war of the worlds hoax. Surreal feeling to the reports. It was also my birthday which made it seem even more strange.
