What is this?

I came across this while hunting a couple of years ago. It looks kind of porous and is shaped kind of like a vertebrae. Besides the complete one there is another one that is broken in several pieces and appears to have been very similar to the complete one.

Dino bones.

Here is the broken one. They were 30 inches tall and over a foot in length on the narrow side. 2 feet long on the wide side.

That was my suspicion but they were bigger than I would have expected. I have no experience around dinosaurs.
