What gun do you regret selling?

None for rifles. But I wish I had kept my first shotgun I bought for myself. Ithaca 37 mid 70's version, 12 gauge. I shot it well until I had the barrel cut and put a polychoke on it. Moved it on a deer gun--might have been my big bore model 94--because I couldn't shoot it as well. Not long after I learned about replacement barrels and not too many years after that screw in options became available.

Picked up a 69 28" 37 in 16 gauge recently, and all is well again.

The only gun I ever sold was the first one I ever bought... I was 12, and I worked to save money, snow shoveling, mowing lawns, and doing a paper route. Many years later I guy I worked with for years needed a rifle for his kid who was just starting. I sold it at 30% under the going price, and I gave him all the anno I had for it. I only hunted with it for one year. It went to a good cause, but I still regret selling it.

I didn’t sell it, but I think my brother did. It was my dad’s pre-64 Winchester 1894 in 30-30. The rest of my dad’s guns were there after my brother died, but not that one.
Ouch. My brother took my dads version of the same gun. To this day I say nothing ever carried as easy or came up as quick. My brother and his two boys both have taken deer with it. I think one of his grandchildren might be carrying it before long.

My first shotgun was a Model 37, 12g, mid 70s. Don't recall how it got away. 16g would have been even better.

Regret:
M77 .243
357 Blackhawk
20g 11-87

Dont regret:
Chinese SKS
12 g Benelli Nova
Savage .410/ 22
20 g Ruger Red Label (English stock)
Some other 20g S x S( English stock)

Ruger Blackhawk Hunter in .44. I bought it when they first came out. Killed a pile of deer with it. Then one day I thought I was good enough for a 200 yard revolver. Sold the Blackhawk and bought a 460 smith. Dumb dumb dumb. Too big and heavy for any kind of fast shots. Loudest firearm I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting. Dumbest gun thing I’ve ever done

I had a lever action .35 Remington for my first rifle at 12 years old. Traded / Sold at a gun show to upgrade to a Ruger M77 .30-06 that I still have. But I should have kept it! Not enough wisdom at 14 years old to keep both. Shame on my dad for letting me get rid of it. I do remember him saying... it's your money, your choice...
I just picked up a pre-safety 336 in 35 Rem. I’m pretty excited about it, thanks for reaffirming my decision! 😂

I sold my first Winchester superx2 for extra cash to buy a piece of $hit Benelli super black eagle II.

I got rid of that hunk of junk and bought another superx2 as quick as possible.

I should have never sold the first one but I was glad to have its clone a year later.

Foolish decision of my youth.
