What boot have you been happy with for the cactus, like in Wyoming?

My uncle wants a new pair and asked if I could find a pair for him. He used leather cowboy boots last time but the cactus ate him up. Looking at a price point of $150 or so. He's not going to spend 400 on the pack boots like what I have. Any help is appreciated!

I hunted Az for most of my life. Honestly, staying away from cactus is the only way to keep them out of your feet. I've had really good boots that weren't enough when walking in the dark and kicking a cholla on accident.

I have 3 sets of boots I wear archery antelope hunting...a better bass pro shop 'red head' boot, and two different styles of Kenetreks and all 3 get stuck through. My crocs are brutal with getting stuck on cactus and cholla
