Just finished these two back to back, with 'At the sharp end' last night. Highly recommend 'Old Soldiers Never Die' by Frank Richards. Hell of a read, especially if you're an old soldier or Vet yourself. 100+yo stories that are still relevant today mixed with the absolute horrors of WW1 and trench warfare.




looking forward to start Vol 2, 'Shock Troops' this evening!

Just finished this one and really liked it. I didn’t realize how messed up this trip was from the earliest planning stages. Surprised any of them made it all.

Almost through this. This series was recommended to me by four different people, none of whom I’d normally have associated with this genre, but all thought of me, so figured it was time.
