Been out calling for song doggies a few times this fall with great success. There doesn't seem to be many predator hunters here as the coyotes and bobcats seem very uneducated. Hopefully the bobcats will be as cooperative when the season opens next week!

I don't want to mess with the skinning and putting up the fur until the buyers show up in the spring....I can and have done it, just don't want to mess with it right now as my available space is being taken up with a house remodel.

Does anyone know anyone that buys the whole animal? I don't want to waste them if prices are looking up like I've heard.

Thanks!

Fur buyers come in the spring because the fur is prime in the winter.

Trappers trap, skin, flesh and stretch the pelts during the prime-time, hoping that the prices will be worth their efforts and at least pay for gas.

Oak....

Dick is a great guy....bobcats are paying for Christmas gifts for the kids this year!

Thanks for the info.

Good deal. Glad it worked out. I don't think bobs get much attention around here? I think a guy could tear it up with a live trap line. Dick probably has an idea of how many trappers there are.
