We were dressing a buck we took Sunday morning, turned around and another buck, which was no where within sight moments before, was walking directly towards us at 150 yds. We were in orange, very visible. Stood up to watch him, he continued to advance in our direction. I swear pronghorn are the most unpredictable animals in the west. Every other lope we saw was skiddish as hell, then this joker walks right in to us. Wish I had video

Once had a doe bring a buck right to us on a ridge one time. We were skylined looking over a basin and she was being herded by a decent buck . She looked up at us and came right beside us at 50 yds, the buck followed and did not bother her anymore, easy harvest.
Pronghorn are curious animals.
Congrats on your harvest.

I was in a patch of greasewood after harvesting my Antelope buck. I had a group of Goats come over a ridge a couple hundred yards away. I was well hidden and downwind so I tried waving a white hand towel I had that I used to wipe blood off my hands. They spotted it right off and came up to within 50 yds. of me. Curious little buggers.

I had a herd walk up to 40yds as I was going to retrieve my buck last year. Have also had them come up and run next to the truck. Ive also had them follow me up draws, and multiple fawns walk up to me. Goofy critters.

Last year while breaking down my buck, I got the feeling that something was standing over me. I turned around and a doe was standing less than 10 yards away. I went back to work and a minute later turned around and she was still there. I started talking to her and she just stood there. Finally I tossed a rock at her and hit her back leg and she left. That was odd.

My last buck was one that was curious about what me and my son were doing (gutting the buck my son just shot.....while standing right next to the pick-up which we’d driven up after it was dead).

Tonight driving down a ranch road we had one running down the road coming towards us about a foot off the edge of the two-track. We saw him about 75 yards out and he finally swerved around us to avoid being hit by the side view mirror. It was like he’d heard the dinner bell ring and was running late.
