Sorry to bust Dave Hawk's post last week on the bobcat painting about us going to the cabin when himself and NHY talked about riding their bikes, but we did go back to the same place I took those pics last year.
Huckleberry picking in OR pretty much sucked. Snow melt was too fast at once this year and plants didn't have enough water to set the fruit. Perhaps enough for two huckleberry cream cheese pies for special occasions is all.
Cut and split a little wood in the mornings until we had to shut down the saws (fire restrictions) so had to ride, hike and read a couple of books. Bad weekend over all. Not!
