Been a couple weeks. It is Slash's 3rd birthday today and this is where he retrieved his first duck at 5 months. Decided we should celebrate.

Neighbors did a Caribbean themed dinner party tonight with jerked chicken and shrimp. I brought painkillers.

It's almost skeeter season so a little G&T to keep the malaria away. Worked in a sprig of cilantro since I'm cooking Mexican food tonight...pairs nicely.

My wife and I were, oddly enough, reminiscing about our Ranger days just now. The original Ranger was one of the best. I'm still a fan of New Belgium beer.
