That's part of what makes them "King Can" My number one duck to pluck whole and roast with stuffing.

Yes. I have hunted this valley for 31 years. Lewis county WA. It is very good hunting at the right times.

Same for me. My best days are picking away at a 1 man limit with the dog. None of my buddies understand why I don't show up for the big group hunts. I don't go hunting to hang out with people.

It's always been on my bucket list to hunt a spring fed slough in the Rockies, thanks to a real good friend and a new friend, crossed one off today.

We are on the same page here for sure! I am happy when my son can go to, but quality time solo with my retriever is priceless to me.

Spent a couple mornings during a staff retreat in a blind. 3 guys, 31 birds. 1 dog taking a soupy shit in the blind. We called it on that, 1 shy of a 3 man limit (2 snows the day before).

Birds played a little better today. 3 man limit in some beautiful country, no snow capped peaks today though.
