I applied for similar except for rifle and am WAY behind on points needed for those tags. My son only has 4 points and I applied him for the same tags. If either of us drew it was very lucky.

Why would I buy point guard, it's just a waste of money! LOL.
Guess I need to check into my options. I only had 10 points so not the end of the world but I sure was running on a high for a bit thinking I had a Arizona Strip mule deer tag.

My buddy and I got hit for 2 deer tags, either 12B West rifle or 3A and 3C Archery. According to go as nonresidents hunt we had less than a 3% chance to draw. I had 7 point and my buddy had 5. Someone has to get lucky! Might as well be us!

Okay. More highs and lows. Looks like the regulations that I just looked up were for 2024. My 1023 on my application shows that it was for 13B Nov 7-16 on the 2025 regulations so maybe I didn't soil myself.
Double checked my other code for the 2025 regulations and it is 1014 - 12A early and 1022 - 13A late.
Maybe one of us really did draw a good tag.

2 big highs today. At 9:15 this morning getting the credit card notification followed by the big low when I thought I had drawn a mediocre tag that conflicted with our normal 3rd season OTC elk hunt in Colorado then the big high again when I got the 2025 regulations instead of the 2024 e regulations pulled up. Turns out looking at the portal I had (have) 14 points so it would have been a little worse than I thought if I had actually drawn that tag.
My odds for the 12a early tag were 1.9% according to GoHunt and I applied my son for just the late hunts so his odds were .4% or lower so most likely I'm the one that drew but you never know. Even with 14 points I was 7+ years away from drawing that tag with points and with point creep who knows how long it would have actually taken. Looks like it should be a fun fall.

Heck yeah!
I put in for 13A and 3A/C, both archery. They dropped the 3A/C archery permits to 20 this year, so only 2 NR permits there; don't think it's possible for your party of 2 and me to both draw that unit. So either I drew 13A or your party got the 12B West hunt. I'm getting old so I burned a bunch of points (21 or 22) and most likely drew 3A/C in the "bonus pass" draw, I guess we'll know in a few days.
