Vx i vs vx 2

I own a couple of each of these scopes and to my 64 year old eyes I cannot see any difference in the clarity and brightness.
Waiting for a reply from Leupold tech to explain to me the difference.

I think the vx-2 is rated to have slightly better light transmission. I like the vx-1 and have several of them.

I received a reply from Leupold Tech.There reply was,The internal parts are almost Identicle between the VX I and VX 2,the main difference is the lense coating. Also the fast focus eye bell.Also the VX 2 has click stop adjustment where the VX I has the older friction widage and elevation adjustments.
To me the difference between 92% and 95% light transmission is so little ,the average hunter could not tell the difference.
