Well my wife drew the general tag for sw desert with 7 points this year. I figured with creep should would not but here we are. Been through the area a few times just never hunted it. I plan on sticking to the Nevada border as much as possible and will obviously be camping. I’ll probably head up couple weeks prior to setup the wall tent and get a little bit better lay of the land. We will be taking our 2 younger children with us during the hunt and I’m a little concerned as far as a safety goes if we breakdown or have some issues. I originally thought this would be the safer option as far as other units go just knowing how quickly a winter storm can get sketchy. Now I realize just how far from everything this place is I’m a bit concerned. I’m reaching out to maybe make contact with someone who is relatively local in case we get in a bind. And If u like fresh from Baja it may be worth it to you. Thanks!

Are you going to be hunting the Dixie National Forest? If so from the north or the south access points. Next when are your hunt dates.
