Well my wife drew the general tag for sw desert with 7 points this year. I figured with creep should would not but here we are. Been through the area a few times just never hunted it. I plan on sticking to the Nevada border as much as possible and will obviously be camping. I’ll probably head up couple weeks prior to setup the wall tent and get a little bit better lay of the land. We will be taking our 2 younger children with us during the hunt and I’m a little concerned as far as a safety goes if we breakdown or have some issues. I originally thought this would be the safer option as far as other units go just knowing how quickly a winter storm can get sketchy. Now I realize just how far from everything this place is I’m a bit concerned. I’m reaching out to maybe make contact with someone who is relatively local in case we get in a bind.
