Utah, Fish Lake Plateau Mule Deer

Well I finally was lucky enough to pull a tag in Utah and I can't wait. We have a party of 4 meeting up for a great time. This is a new area for us. The deer density and all the reports look good. We are virtual scouting now on Google Earth and the terrain looks incredible. If anyone would like to share their adventures there with pictures or ideas on where to camp or areas to look at I am all ears!

That's a fun hunt. I hunted the unit over in Beaver. It's beautiful country.

Also, one thing to note, is although it's listed as a "general hunt" its probably the most premium out of all the general units. Last time I checked I believe it took residents and nonresident about 5 pts to draw. All the research I have done would lead me to the NW corner of the unit on the public above the ag fields. Keep me posted on how you do I should have enough points to pull that tag next year. Good Luck!
