Today was our last day of grouse hunting here in Pennsylvania, so it looks like bird hunting is done until October. We managed to get one rabbit but no birds. The best part of the day, aside from watching my old man's setter, was stumbling upon an elk bedding area. The beds were still warm when we came through. This was a first for us and really got us excited. From here until the end of next month it will be squirrels, rabbits and ice fishing. Hope you guys are enjoying the wind down on your seasons.
