Unit 33 Elk

I am looking for sum info on 33 elk. I have never hunted this unit. Look in at the stats it looks good. As far as success rates go. Would like to archery hunt a week. Then come back for rifle a week. U can send me a private message.

33 can be an interesting unit to hunt. Some decent bulls, and a lot of private land / landlocked public. Not a typical national forest hunt. Make sure you have a GPS with the land ownership chip you will need it. The best bulls will be in the broken up public.

It was tough hunting in 33 this year. Quite a few elk were blown out of the area early. Then another 700 plus holed up on Tobin's place and pretty much stayed there the entire season.

That's what the warden told me. It was tough last year. Any one ever archery hunt it?
