Unit # 22 Colorado???

Has anybody hunted CO unit 22 before ???

I have a 3rd season deer tag and was thinking of getting a unlimited bull tag or cow tag. I hunted there once in 1991, They had just started putting in natural gas pump stations, i'm sure they have expanded it and cut more roads for better access. I hunted around the Piceance creek area. I would greatly appreciate any info about the unit. Thanks

You will find a LOT more roads and pads than you did last time you were there.

Might be worth it to buy an elk tag. There are plenty of them in the unit.

I was thinking i am only going to be able to get a cow tag off the B list for 3rd season, because i am going to already have a ES archery elk tag for september.
So has anybody seen alot of cow elk over there in any particular places.
