My son has a hunt in unit 15 for deer been trying to get some info or where I should go it's a muzzleloader hunt in November any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I hunted that unit with ML in the September hunt in 2003 and we went up to the ne of Apache Creek and almost straight north of Aragon about 7-10 miles in the highest areas we could find because it was in the 90s the whole week. It was a lot better for elk, but we saw a number of deer, including this forky that someone didn't do too good a job on in the early archery season.I'd have shot him even though he was a dink, but it was the day before our season opened.

Tough, tough deer unit. I've hunted that unit several times in the last 5 or 6 years, and deer are few and far between. Have seen a couple of really nice bucks however.
