This is the taxi of the WT buck I got last November on public land in TX. The story is on the Hog forum (Tactical Hog Hunting) since the hogs were more plentiful there than the deer.
These shots of the mount give a better idea of the size and character of this buck than the pictures I posted earlier of just the cape. The crab claw on the rt. side appears to be actually a small drop tine since the main beam on both sides turns up. There is also a 1/2 in. sticker at the base in front on the rt. side. Unofficial score 139 2/8, 22 inches outside, 20.5 in. inside.
Not a whopper, but pretty good for this old country boy. I'm happy w/ him. Sorry the pictures are not better. I think part of the problem was w/ the development...
