That’s about how mine looked and I instantly said “yep, good acorn drop this year”. Interesting how you skin the tail out, I just find the joint and cut the whole thing off. More than one way to skin a deer for sure!
I gutted this one, hadn’t done that in a long time and not sure why I did this time. Maybe I suck at it but it seems to get a whole lot more blood over the meat and me….
