Is the hunting pressure pretty high in the General W units in the Big Horns like unit 36 and 37?

Check the harvest reports, they estimate numbers of hunters based on sampling.
I will just say for anyone applying this year, make sure you apply to region East or west. No elk in the South region. What the winters haven’t killed, the wolves from Colorado have. The rest have been driven off by landowners screaming at people for corner crossing.
Next year may be different but for sure stay away from the south this year.

"Lots" of good opportunity with 7 points if you are willing to pay for the special and hunt with a bow.

Seems pretty similar to most states. You may see a lot of camps and people buzzing around on four wheelers, but once you get off the beaten path a little bit you can find solitude. If you can find a WY resident to take you into the Wilderness that can help.

I'm also in the "7 points and sinking" boat. Think I am going to spend the $707 at the meat market and give up on Wyoming. Can I write that off as capital loss???
