Does anybody have experience using the Federal Premium trophy bonded tip cartridge In 270wsm?

I’ve shot several animals (mule deer, elk, antelope, and a Barbary sheep) with that bullet in my .308. Really like it.

I have an xbolt in 270wsm, these shoot very accurately in that gun. Have shot one cow elk and a whitetail buck, very good performance.

I shoot them @180gr out of my '06. The gun likes them and I have been pleased with the performance. Here is what I shot at the range yesterday confirming my zero.

Forgot I had this photo that I posted in another thread, but I’ve recovered a handful of these bullets from critters I’ve shot. Seem to mushroom nicely and retain around 90% of their weight most of the time.

I've tried them in my .270 Win. I can't get the 130grn bullets to group, tried several different powders. The 140's did pretty good though, just not as fast as I'd like.

The only animal I've shot with them was with my .308 - 165grn TBT's. That was a bear last spring at 250yds. The bullet did perfect and the bear's at the taxidermist.
