Alright I’m at a loss at what animal leaving these tracks. They are about as big as a Copenhagen can. I’m guessing a Mustelidae Family from the 2x2 track just have no idea what it would be

That’s what I’ve come up with but that old boy needs to check his map.
Don’t ND have a limited fisher season or am I imagining things? Was just talking to a guy and apparently there was a fisher caught two years ago just on the Montana North Dakota boarder so maybe this one isn’t so lost after all

Got permission to trap a property from some folks at church. To their knowledge it has never been trapped. Put out two traps last night, we are definitely still learning how to do this. I do not know much about raccoon behavior, but we found some tracks in the mud by a creek. Placed some sardines in the traps and some around for a bit more scent. Came back this morning and viola two raccoons. My boy was already talking about coming back next weekend, I think we are going to have to pick up a few more traps… and a better way to skin the tails, I am not fast by any means. How was the fur?Not very often will you see fat on a coyote like this at the end of February
