Poured all last night so we did not have as high of hopes for this morning. However, we also got an Alabama silver fox this morning haha. Another small raccoon as well. Reset those traps and freshened up the rest of them!

Some savage animal knocked my solo cups off of my DP's last night. Then, didnt ebven bother to eat the food. I had to dump out the soggy food today and put the cups back on.....

Would love to know what did that but the last time, I set a camera, and it was a crow messing with them.....

One more trap check this morning

Love those cats and canines! We are definitely going to have to figure those out as well. Alabama closes the bobcat trapping season this weekend, but we will be ready for the fall.

The boys got another two raccoons this morning. They both said they can’t wait to check again tomorrow morning.

Got me another silver fox this morning.

Out squirrel hunting and noticed that 2 coyotes ran down my muddy 4 wheeler track last night and turned off the trail 100 yards before my set…..

Maybe I’ll get them tonight!

Added two raccoons today.

I’m diverting a lot of my stuff to my three main turkey farms. I feel like I need to go harder on the coyotes and raccoons out there. I’d like to be 3-4x where I’m at.


My daughter picked a lucky bag of marshmallows today and said it was the key for us to get a lot more.

The odd thing is a few are already missing and we haven’t even used it yet.

Now to get ready for next year, gotta order a bunch of lure and pry get another dozen 550s or those dogless dukes not sure which I want.
I'm loving the way these cat prices are looking!

Well not trapping related but fur related. I just picked up 2 fur sewing machines yesterday. Now to get them cleaned up and working. Hats.mittens, headbands are on the agenda

Pulled my last little line today I let soak till the end of the year and it paid off

Added two possums today.

I set up a bunch of dog proofs and beaver stuff today. I’m going to be getting some solid rain the next 10 days and I am still dumb (wax dirt less) so I’m going to be focusing on what I can.

Walked some areas today on my farm and planned where I’m going to attack the next month or so.

I have to protect my turkeys!


I’m considering going after squirrels soon. They eat the sheds and give me heart attacks in the stand.

I did add about 6 more traps today and moved some around.

I expect some numbers to start exploding.

I need to hit 250!

Nothing today but while I was working a grey fox ran across my front yard and down past a few of my victors sets. Pretty sure he got the bait out of 2 of my dirt holes. Too light to set off those no-bs jr. coyote traps.

1 raccoon and 2 possums today.

The possum is an a-hole.

He just messed up my mock set and original set. I’ve got a coyote who is a complete PIA.

Then big fatty comes along and gets my stuff.

What kind of machines did you get? They can be tough to find. I got a new one recently and it’s pretty sweet how easy sewing fur just became!

I lucked into a Bonis A and a Singer 176-21? I think that’s the model on the Singer
