Is there any advantage of shooting wood arrows over aluminum/carbon?? I think that they look a whole lot better and that building them would be fun. Also, does anyone have any GOOD resources that describe the building of these?? THanks for the help.

1_pointer,

I like both alum & wood in my recurve.
In a long bow Alum, is shooting better for me

I don't build them, just call 3 rivers archery or custom king and order them.
Check around the local archery shops,
I just found an old retired fellow that builds cedar arrows for "FUN" I guess,
he charges 45 a dozen....I think thats right.
I'm sure there is a video avialable to learn.
