Tough fawning conditions

My son ran into this birthing situation yesterday at the farm. The doe had these twins right on the road. She ran off when she saw him coming. She came back and took care of them and near as we can tell they survived. He spotted the doe nearby the next morning and assumed the fawns where in hiding.

Very cool. I guess the second one is still in the... er, sack? Glad to know she got them both up and moving.
