Thanks to my two boys I have 3 deer to do. I struck out early muzzle loader but still have a bow tag in my pocket. The boys used to help me but now they are in their teenage years its funny how they disappear when I tell them I need help. Meat is unthawed and ready for the grinder tomorrow morning. This year the plan is brahts, polish sausage, snack sticks, and summer sausage. Maybe some jerky but that takes alot of meat for a little jerky.

I know what you mean about the help disappearing! Mine likes to hunt, but that's it!

BTW, wouldn't "unthawed" mean frozen?;)

That's basically what I do. I quarter my deer out, and freeze them. I wait until those days that are not ideal days to do anything outside (raining), and set out how many quarters I feel like processing. Sometimes it's 6 months later.
Anyway, I worked on alot of it yesterday. However, I have never tried to make any snack sticks, summer or polish sausage, etc. I've got to give it a try!
