Thunder Basin Deer?

I've seen some very nice bulls in the Rochelle Hills. So few tags so loooong odds

Here's a bull that we saw in 27 last year. Not real big though and there 2 other smaller ones too. One night really late though we saw a 5x5 and a very nice 6x6, probably 300" or maybe even bigger. But yea on preference points that might be a 30 year draw, who knows.....

Part of the reason unit 113 has so few tags is that it is managed for trophy bulls. I know someone who hunted that a couple of years ago. He killed a bull in the 330-340 range. When he was checked by the game warden he asked why he had killed such a small bull. There are some true monsters in that area. That is also why it is next to impossible to draw.

This came out of the Thunder Basin in 2009 and saw several more not quite as good, went back in 2010 and saw one small three point.
