Killing a moose on the other side of a tall ridge from camp
Killing a moose at 5 PM
Killing a moose with an out-of-shape brother as your pack out help.

On second thought, maybe I do recommend all those things.

Great moose. I shot mine mid-morning last year and it fell within 200 yards of where I could drive in my truck. Your antlers make mine look like a spike Coues buck so I'd say the pain you took on was worth the gain! Fantastic eating as well.
