The bead blast is a soft gray, goes nicely with the darker stain laminate. Bare lever no longer bites, cycles smoothly w/ lever operation down from 5.75 lbs to about 4.5. Trigger pull @3lbs. Totally pleased with this little big hogstopper.

*Edit to add: Slimmed foreend and removed all checkering, deleted punch safety.

I have the same machine on my desk at work. Sometimes it’s just easier to spot check margins and such with the old school machine.
