I grew up in a "Danish" town in CA called Solvang, it was great, make the rest of CA like that! The pastries were good, the farmers were all Jacobsens, Johansens, and Andersens, and the deli next to my aunt's western store only served Carlsberg beer. We also had an original Spanish mission that was not quite on theme though...

I lived in Santa Maria for about a year. Used to go to Solvang and hang out once in awhile drinking beer. Cool place. mtmuley
