The Eye Pased right over us!

Alrighty Then!, Now I see where to place my money when a Hurricane is coming to your House. Put up with alot of rain and wind, then let the eye pass over your house and the next day you will have pretty skies! Weird as it seems, we lost power for a short time, no trouble, just crank the generator and pop a top. We did have to empty the Deer camp of 8 matteresses (phonics) to give some displaced South Louisiana people a place to sleep. Scattered electicity outages, Deerslayer came and got my generator this morning, as he is without juice. I looked out the front door during one of the more intense down pours to see my son and some of his brain surgeon friends kneeboarding in the front of the house with the help of a fat assed ATV!

Great you made it through. What kind of winds and damage there?

Here in Shreveport it was'nt too bad, the odd tree here and there with some areas getting more, like East Texas really got more damage than we did. But I think as a whole the ARK-LA-TEX area doged a Bullet.

I'm sure you know plenty of folks who have it bad right now!
We have a bunch of owners here who are now living in thier "vacation homes"

Hopeully we are done with the bad ones for a few years,
