Thanksgiving goose shoot

Had big plans for a couple shoots this weekend but the second shoot they dissapered when we went to check on them the night before. It worked out alright tho had a good goose shoot visited some family had some nice relaxing family time, dig potatoes and got lots of housework done lol.

Started out slow and looked like was going to be a poor morning but after a bit they started working better and we knocked down a two man limit of geese and a few ducks. Could have used a third shooter as we had geese landing in the decoys after we were limited out

Hopefully find another shoot for this week. It’s coming to my favourite couple weeks now

You threw me off for a second with that title, 'Thanksgiving' Goose Shoot. Congratulations! I was driving through rural Saskatchewan and lost a trailer wheel bearing, couldn't find anywhere that was open. Then a guy at the gas station told me it was Thanksgiving day and I was probably out of luck.
