Just Curious. Is there a difference in hunting tatics for the different subspecies?
I know about the different terrains. But I would like to know how they can change like in calling techniques and so forth.
thanks

worthlessnut, i do beleive each species has there own characteristics that are directly related to their individual habitats and geographic locations!! there are physical differences and habitual differences, some are much harder to call than others for ex. the birds i hunt in tenn. and ky. appear more responsive than the birds i hunt here in fla. iv had alot more success with easterns than ocseolas so i would say yes there are differences!! :D

im sure when CTH (canadian turkey hunter) comes back from his trip he will be able to share first hand knowledge of the differences, hes on a north american tour of the states hunting turkey :D :D
